Eli- honorary twin of Lizzy- as she calmly called over each member of the Patio Cafe and asked them to read her shirt. I wonder why we never got served...
Lizzy's dad Neil, and Sharon, thoroughly entertained at the rise in unemployment- until Eli fired them too.

Courtney, James, and Ali... unsure whether to prepare for a delicious meal or to start writing resumes.
Inga, Dave, Libby, and Jonathan studying their menus. The last waiter to escape being fired was lured over to the table by Dave's brightly glowing menu. Eli then gave him a ultimatum- either serve us for free, or get fired.

In a rarely remembered incident, Lizzy- Eli's twin partner in crime- suddenly decided to get in on the action. But as soon as she lifted her imaginary gun, Courtney threw up her hands to surrender!
No place can fill you up quite like the Patio Cafe. And Jonathan knows that there's no better way to let your meal settle than to sit back and close your eyes while Libby massages your shoes.

Looking around the lobby after dinner. Sharon's hiding just to the left of camera range after finishing her paper. Eli is being calmly attacked by Lizzy's leftover light sticks. Kyan is taking a breath of fresh air opposite the direction of the nearest foot, and Libby has given up massaging Jonathan's sneakers.
Suddenly chaos breaks out as Lizzy and Kyan engage in a duel!

Eli and Sharon have secret plans of their own. I think the word "camera" is involved...
So do Helen, Tim, and Steph as they begin preparing cameras of their own...

The nametag of the lady whose love unites us all- Alyssa
Alyssa's photography fascination has apparently inspired camera crazies out of all of us...

So we started walking westward down Ventura, and I started snapping.

All were smiles approaching the corner of Coldwater and Ventura. As vacationing pedestrians we could care less that gas was nearly $3 a gallon.
It’s a bird- it’s a plane- it’s- Ralph’s!

As we waited for our turn at the light, everyone’s thoughts drifted in different directions. James was checking in light of prices at the 76 that he could make it back to his apartment. Lizzy pondered whether LA drivers actually pay attention to the color of the light. Kyan was already frustrated with the film fanatic. And Neil inconspicuously tried to hide the crosswalk signal so he could continue enjoying the sunset.
Bye Steve- we’re leaving without you!

With Double Coupon Day, everyone’s pace picked up!
Once inside, the search began for the perfect muffin.

Is he still taking pictures?! One of my favorite shots from the entire week- James, Lizzy, Kyan, and Neil- all single file- trying to get away from me!
We have a muffin! And it’s Lizzy in the lead, followed closely by Kyan! Neil’s closing in on third! Don’t you love the expression of the lady behind Neil, looking at us like we’re all insane?

What happened to James? Can you find him?
There he is! As the lady behind Neil begins thinking out loud…

James’s foot was feeling especially heavy as we sped through a Hollywood blur.

And after only a couple near head-on collisions we arrived at our destination.
The Universal Citywalk!

Everything has a civic atmosphere. From the CityFood…
To the Jurassic Parking structure beyond the CityLoft.

Universal Citywalk is a blaze of lights.
Suddenly the midway rumbled as an earthquake hit! Or was that just a pickpocketer grabbing my camera?

We don’t like to talk about it much, but at the arcade I did rescue Lizzy from a crazed gunman. Fortunately the hostage situation came to an end when he ran out of quarters.
